Long Distance Coaching

The Hitching Post
Long ago in the old west, when people had trouble with a horse, they could go into town and seek the advice of grizzled veterans... perhaps bartering a meal, or a round of drinks at the bar, maybe even a dollar for a local cowhand...

I would like to reintroduce that concept to modern times.

Your Price Advice
If you'd like my counsel on Parelli Natural Horsemanship or Gaited Horses, send me an email with: "THE HITCHING POST" in the subject line.

You can attach a video file, post a private Youtube video, or let me know that a DVD is coming the mail. I also have a shared disk on the internet where you can easily upload videos. After reviewing your movie I will respond to you with an email. My reply to you will include an indicator of the time I spent on your coaching session. We can also arrange to have a phone chat, where we can discuss your video, and even watch it together as we talk.

If you find the advice helpful you can send me a check in an amount you feel matches its value to you - with my time spent on the project as a guide. You pay only what you feel is fair for the feedback and coaching you have received.

If you don't find the response helpful, nothing is lost but the time it takes to hear my opinion.

The concept of the Hitching Post is for people to pay based on the value of the advice, and their ability to pay. Some folks have asked for a guideline of what I am expecting. I am expecting exactly as I have described, but if you need a figure you can use $1.50/minute.

Much have I learned from my teachers, more from my colleagues, but most from my students. -- Talmud
